MACL has 3 Community Inclusion Programs, Cedar, Oak, and Maple. These programs provide a mix of large group, small group and individualized activities in the areas of life skills enhancement, community access, volunteering, recreation and leisure for adults of all ages at multiple sites in the community.
Employment Services focuses on job readiness with the specific goal of helping participants find employment. This is accomplished through a process of assessment, discovery, skill training and job readiness training. Employment Services assists individuals to discover their strengths and passions and tie those things to jobs. Following the discovery process, individuals are assisted to develop related skills and finally secure and maintain employment.
MACL offers a variety of staffed home services to Youth and Adults in the Mission Community. Our homes are warm and welcoming and our staff work hard to ensure that the rights of those who live in the home are respected and that they have full access to their community in a way that is meaningful to them.
Home Sharing is a unique lifestyle that helps to integrate and build relationships between individuals, families and communities. Home Sharing is for individuals who want to share a home with a family or a person. Supports may include assistance with selfcare and relationship building, life skills, meal preparation
Our respite program provides temporary rest and renewal for primary caregivers of an adult with a disability. Respite may be as short as a 24-hour period, but can also be for longer periods of time
We match individuals with screened respite contractors who share interests and activities with persons served, and who are willing to provide short-term support.
Individuals receiving respite have opportunities to develop new relationships with other families and friends, and experience different community events and other enjoyable occasions.
